ECHOIC III - Studio & Projects x Odabashian
The Echoic rug collection was developed from design explorations of juxtaposed rigid and organic grids, asymmetric rhythms, and natural forms. Key inspiration was found in West African and African American textiles and modernist art and artists such as Felrath Hines, Paul Klee, and Ruth Asawa.
This collection of rugs in manufactured with the textile company Odabashian–a fourth-generation rug-maker founded in Mexico City in 1921 with a strong eye toward sustainable and ethical design and manufacturing.
